Victorine Richard-Roland | Learning to Take Her Place

In this new episode of Voices of Women at Work, Victorine Richard-Roland recounts a journey that wasn’t predetermined.

She wanted to become a midwife. Then, faced with reality, doubts, and a major reassessment, she chose a different path: pharmacy, then digital marketing.

A Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate of ESSEC Business School, Victorine now works in the beauty and digital industries. At a young age, she took on managerial responsibilities and discovered what it means to lead, to embrace her role, and to champion a vision in a sector where women are numerous but still underrepresented in top positions.

In this interview, she talks about work, ambition, work-life balance, imposter syndrome, and sisterhood. This sisterhood is something she experiences every day with the women around her: her friends, her colleagues, and her team.

An episode about the paths we leave behind, those we build, and this essential conviction: women are legitimate. They belong here. And they can aim higher.
